Terrorism/Kidnapping/Extortion

The threat of terrorism and the acts of violence associated with terrorism have never been greater. Incidents of extortion and kidnap for ransom have increased dramatically over the past few years. Corporate directors and officers, wealthy individuals and their families are primary targets.

Local law enforcement agencies must put the needs of their communities first and may not be able to meet individual needs at the time of a crisis. They are precluded from offering certain advice to the victim, such as whether or not to pay ransom. At PCI, the victim is our first priority. PCI is sensitive to the needs of the victim and can give clear and specific advice as to the best course of action. Our ability to respond quickly and effectively can have a bearing on the life or death of an individual.
